    • Boosting capacity
    • Mitigating flood damage
    • Ensuring compatibility with renewables tech
    • Protecting and boosting the local economy
    • Improving the looks of the substation

    What are your working hours?

    08:00 - 17:00, Monday - Friday

    Will the road be closed?

Varying sections of the road will be closed throughout the project. However, access to the businesses will be maintained for vehicles where possible, and pedestrians at all times.

Will the road remain closed overnight?

The sections that are closed will usually remain closed overnight.

How will you manage traffic to my business?

Traffic management will be in place. Road works will be split into sections to minimise disruption and suitable signage will be used to indicate diversion routes around Captains Place - depending on which section of the road has been closed. Vehicular access around Captains Place will be maintained, and pedestrian access to the individual businesses will be maintained at all times.

    Will residents parking be affected?

Some stages will require the suspension of parking areas. The details of this are to follow and will be communicated to occupants as soon as possible. This will include when parking bays will be needed and for how long.

I'm disabled and need vehicular access to my property through Captains Place. Can this be accomodated?

Please contact the PTC Team with details of your requirements, and we will do all we can to assist you.
