We’re investing £10.6million to boost Bordon’s electricity network.
The trenching works to install the cable ducts which began in in May 2023 are almost complete. The team is moving to the next phase of the project to connect the ducts and pull the cable through. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we carry out these essential works.
To allow the team to safely install the joint bays and feed the cable through, most of the work will be carried out under temporary traffic lights, helping to reduce the need for full road closures wherever possible. However, two road closures are required to complete specific parts of the work safely; and these are listed below. Diversion routes will be clearly signposted, and maps of the closures and diversions will be made available on our website.
Unfortunately, due to unforeseen circumstances, the works below have been put on hold until further notice. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.
In the meantime, no works will take place and traffic on the roads below will remain unaffected.
We appreciate your patience and understanding as we review the programme for these essential works.
Thank you to the 78 people who attended our community events at The Shed in Bordon on 22 January and St Nicholas’ Church in West Worldham on 4 February last year.
Details of any future events will be shared here, and key local stakeholders will be kept informed.
You can view our interactive map to provide real-time updates on the progress of our works. Each section of work is represented with a different colour and the pin shows the location of our team. You can click on each section of works for details of when the team will be in that location.
